Happy New Year! It's been pretty quiet over here on the blog lately. I have been crafting a bit but just haven't been able to find the time to update the blog. So for 2021 I will be mainly posting to my Instagram and Facebook pages (Sootywing Studios). You can find all of my crafty goodness there. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMKN7EDhc53-MbLNLaIjqWxtfTMp4RkdDsuiamHJqZ4WZGAvE4I_fcjsynSznvmPE8Vzn_B30JJktAwK6U9E4WbjExp3BLxHEwg_jlSt3QBhD4RPAYp_5nDgLVBRJJR45hrnNQKApAhl8/s2048/fineart_3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1501" data-original-width="2048" height="294" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMKN7EDhc53-MbLNLaIjqWxtfTMp4RkdDsuiamHJqZ4WZGAvE4I_fcjsynSznvmPE8Vzn_B30JJktAwK6U9E4WbjExp3BLxHEwg_jlSt3QBhD4RPAYp_5nDgLVBRJJR45hrnNQKApAhl8/w400-h294/fineart_3.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br /><p>Today I did want to share some instructions I put together for my latest Stampin Fancy Friday card. The challenge this month is to showcase your favorite set from the Mini Catalog. I've had a couple of requests for some instructions so I am sharing them <a href="https://docs.google.com/document/d/1KbxEUk8DJN1HkE_9_vNrK31Sl39QLpXl-12qOXq_8QI/edit?usp=sharing">HERE</a> for you. I would have done a video but I'm not super savvy doing videos and my lighting in my craft room is pretty bad, ha! So for now I have some step by step instructions.</p><p>My favorite set by far is the Fine Art Floral product suite. I love everything from this product suite. I really enjoyed putting this card together. It has quite a few elements but it's super fancy and is such a pretty card for that special someone.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5zrID-vtcQZorwsU4YyYYZszg55gLv9XCdLdRUvj91lXx_w6ZeJcy8DIwxcLs_Pa1wKXS8_0bhhTcdtknZBt0gfgfDVM0zem-oNgAQyTyZZHDQqT_J9bNSaVMMmuRMu1oVFn3JNnAg98/s1080/FF_JAN_1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5zrID-vtcQZorwsU4YyYYZszg55gLv9XCdLdRUvj91lXx_w6ZeJcy8DIwxcLs_Pa1wKXS8_0bhhTcdtknZBt0gfgfDVM0zem-oNgAQyTyZZHDQqT_J9bNSaVMMmuRMu1oVFn3JNnAg98/w400-h400/FF_JAN_1.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbDY6mYgxFTV37UBk5xLM_vcQyA9YVg4FVmUPHdsE2eaFUN_7fTFV_Ptk6qDF369BZH5_X7SuHY_7QCMiOBwKajBzHIggBtWvtgXfIM9xoqM9yKbO2RWnyOG191dznRGMR4oJNFuknxGM/s2048/fineart_2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbDY6mYgxFTV37UBk5xLM_vcQyA9YVg4FVmUPHdsE2eaFUN_7fTFV_Ptk6qDF369BZH5_X7SuHY_7QCMiOBwKajBzHIggBtWvtgXfIM9xoqM9yKbO2RWnyOG191dznRGMR4oJNFuknxGM/w300-h400/fineart_2.jpg" width="300" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><p>Please join us in the Stampin' Fancy Friday challenge for this month. I'm going to make my post brief but I had to share the card I made for the Global Design Project challenge this week. This week's challenge is a sketch. Sketches and color challenges are my favorites. Anyway click <a href="http://www.global-design-project.com/2020/12/global-design-project-270-sketch.html">HERE</a> for the sketch.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi50sFBMX5ItnnV84m9KM_WgXd0Iz7l94GAxxF_L32fPO3FLs2WtntH1fcTFyGzhTihvwi3dOeXX4EtZBL1hfb8yK22GqWxZVit1rRIuEzAicz6EeYovHzI1cn-Fx8BQpWcmZmNCFNkj7s/s526/%2523270.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="526" data-original-width="526" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi50sFBMX5ItnnV84m9KM_WgXd0Iz7l94GAxxF_L32fPO3FLs2WtntH1fcTFyGzhTihvwi3dOeXX4EtZBL1hfb8yK22GqWxZVit1rRIuEzAicz6EeYovHzI1cn-Fx8BQpWcmZmNCFNkj7s/w200-h200/%2523270.jpg" width="200" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I'm working on my christmas cards so this sketch was good to help me come up with some other ideas. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZufo0y0NG-9LwEAh4NLVWS7RFDnEspXGHHcFwmE10avxrr6_W1OyUUHeTYsxjOFHnOgyNoyqzwZ1kng750OkxKwyzq6gfisaqD6C7Sv0GAh72GffaYsR5p6S2NjR_tEd9AaTjELFBkLk/s2048/gdp270_1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZufo0y0NG-9LwEAh4NLVWS7RFDnEspXGHHcFwmE10avxrr6_W1OyUUHeTYsxjOFHnOgyNoyqzwZ1kng750OkxKwyzq6gfisaqD6C7Sv0GAh72GffaYsR5p6S2NjR_tEd9AaTjELFBkLk/w300-h400/gdp270_1.jpg" width="300" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I'm in LOVE with the Heartwarming DSP so I wanted to use that as the background for my card. I also thought it would be fun to use some of the dies from Forever Flourishing. I cut out several of the leaves with the Festive Felt, Old Olive cardstock and Gold glimmer paper. These were all placed around a gold hoop. I've used these fun hoops way more than I thought I would. They are such a fun touch to the card.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUUf1sLaoXP7SyKpt6MPi3aIwKyztcn48EwLeMiboZVJqYMri26hwkX_UJsFzb-vBUPi_7QshORSR3KH0dOxAaCcGRkje1RBl8iZVHKC38kCwBOaGYfm7kejymxbrQdpRyq1jK399M93o/s2048/gdp270_2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1693" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUUf1sLaoXP7SyKpt6MPi3aIwKyztcn48EwLeMiboZVJqYMri26hwkX_UJsFzb-vBUPi_7QshORSR3KH0dOxAaCcGRkje1RBl8iZVHKC38kCwBOaGYfm7kejymxbrQdpRyq1jK399M93o/w331-h400/gdp270_2.jpg" width="331" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I used the Wrapped in Texture embossing folder on Shimmery white cardstock. It's a tad dusty over here, haha!! I just haven't had the energy to craft as much as I would have liked plus I'm re-organizing my craft area so that is just a HUGE mess which makes it harder to put a quick card together. But I've been itching to do some crafting so I made some space in the mess and played along with the Global Design Project challenge. After not crafting for a while, I find that the challenges help to get my mojo going.<p></p><p>The challenge this week at Global Design Project is a theme challenge. The theme this week is Hot Drinks. See the challenge <a href="http://www.global-design-project.com/2020/11/global-design-project-267-theme.html">HERE</a>. This was perfect since I recently received the Warm Hugs bundle so I wanted to play with that.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSQN0UZ3Kz1_Lvw5MY7EdaZ1XCppFxqNWU1TgsQL5zC9YGgo1Vwwo_UHKS6B9VZ_QxKSF0p-xFKGW1zaUDGm__5uI4mjjIFC0B1BCVIc-IwB1jhmG8MiQsc98bE-B9lUEPFAgQjRAHPBQ/s640/%2523267.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="436" data-original-width="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSQN0UZ3Kz1_Lvw5MY7EdaZ1XCppFxqNWU1TgsQL5zC9YGgo1Vwwo_UHKS6B9VZ_QxKSF0p-xFKGW1zaUDGm__5uI4mjjIFC0B1BCVIc-IwB1jhmG8MiQsc98bE-B9lUEPFAgQjRAHPBQ/s320/%2523267.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div><br /></div>So I used the Warm Hugs stamp set along with the Heartwarming Hugs DSP. Love this paper and stamp set. Aren't those little coffee cups so cute!! I plan to add a coffee gift card to the inside of the card. I sure hope whoever receives this enjoys this pretty card! :)<div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFyRUe-CWz22xnkVqMmpxlVGDxE9ejyWBgBcVXFC7XTKEq1SeHz8ZdfjVZOuiBVBh_0TRLktC-Sr3DXysN0h7SkstqnFLqhYmFd8ENc-ekcsssUzMUonXZIohZnP1fCl347tVqfJsmftQ/s2048/GDP267_2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFyRUe-CWz22xnkVqMmpxlVGDxE9ejyWBgBcVXFC7XTKEq1SeHz8ZdfjVZOuiBVBh_0TRLktC-Sr3DXysN0h7SkstqnFLqhYmFd8ENc-ekcsssUzMUonXZIohZnP1fCl347tVqfJsmftQ/w300-h400/GDP267_2.jpg" width="300" /></a></div><br /><div>One of my favorite things on this card is the red felt from the Festive Felt pack. And I love the ribbon, which is from the All the Trimmings combo pack. The coordination of the different elements from the different product suites in the catalog is so great! One thing to note is the red gems are retired but could easily be replaced with the Wonderful Gems from the Holiday catalog. (I just don't have those yet).</div><div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGFH0OeCjBH4glgdqklN-gtq9rA-PxvNn0vbIBixWVpp4w6tupDjL5-Cy4S3R36P8XOtpPB16nPgHE3bWP7lvj4DumaL2ViL6KgTT3-79i989T5WH7jZfnWTHYUg9pHD1ZRHZ-NwtXM4w/s2048/GDP267_3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1543" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGFH0OeCjBH4glgdqklN-gtq9rA-PxvNn0vbIBixWVpp4w6tupDjL5-Cy4S3R36P8XOtpPB16nPgHE3bWP7lvj4DumaL2ViL6KgTT3-79i989T5WH7jZfnWTHYUg9pHD1ZRHZ-NwtXM4w/w301-h400/GDP267_3.jpg" width="301" /></a></div><br /><div>I hope you enjoy today's card and it puts you in the holiday spirit! I am a guest stamper over at this week's Global Design Project challenge. Woo hoo! I won last month's challenge so I get the honor of participating with the Design Team on this month's color challenge. Check out the challenge <a href="http://www.global-design-project.com/2020/08/global-design-project-253-color.html">HERE</a>. And what a great color combo it is this week!</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1124" data-original-width="1801" height="199" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2IxJlVwNvjotHy_LOqz_GkdwD8GwGt3iRWl8JJ4QZM6vEwt14xLUP7YwW6A0_CJfvM7rJegvnjRWG_E5-D5rrtY2PlFqmDeW_wC6WMdBPjb8hjUNCLpOsBgzBOOoTR2mqCNju-wFYZL0/w320-h199/1A24EBC80FED44999EB22D05D6D00F16.jpg" width="320" /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">These are fun colors this week! They scream bright and summery to me! I decided to go with making a Happy Birthday card. I wanted to use the Playful Alphabet dies to make a card. <br />
Hello! Today I am here to share my card for the Stampin' Fancy Friday challenge for July. I'm a little late in posting on the blog but you can still use the challenge as inspiration for you next card! July's challenge is focusing on one of our favorite product suites from the new catalog. It was hard for me to pick but I really fell in love with the Playing with Patterns suite. The Playful Alphabet Dies are the cutest letters ever! They are the perfect size and are really a playful font.<div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi4CB3ziai5i3O03ClEfJLfspdhFDtckxeYAnhYMIDIRVyAZtheO5a3bRD7LT69bqwIVvncmsjwLdukhohxX4gp0ptlxc0vMBqVrsSyG0HKZp5byw1kk8NkYCdLmwWNpr4ywteRZVUGgL8/s1080/JUNE20FF_1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi4CB3ziai5i3O03ClEfJLfspdhFDtckxeYAnhYMIDIRVyAZtheO5a3bRD7LT69bqwIVvncmsjwLdukhohxX4gp0ptlxc0vMBqVrsSyG0HKZp5byw1kk8NkYCdLmwWNpr4ywteRZVUGgL8/s640/JUNE20FF_1.jpg" /></a></div><div><br />I decided to make a shaker card. I cut out "THANK" on a piece of Night of Navy card stock. I used the line image from the stamp set to stamp several lines in Night of Navy ink on the card stock. Then I added a window sheet behind the word. I used the foam adhesive strips and added it to the back of the Night of Navy cardstock. I placed a bunch of sequins on the Playing with Patterns DSP and then adhered the Night of Navy piece on top.<br />
<br />
I then cut out "YOU" with another piece of Playing with Patterns DSP and the Foam adhesive sheets. I added these letters right under "THANK"<br />
<br />
To finish off the card, I added some of the Playing with Patterns Resin dots in Purple Posy (LOVE THESE!!!) and Night of Navy ribbon from the Playing with Patterns ribbon combo pack.</div><div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjKKb8QykltJCBXynmMg9gJIWaRTTRJX5U9unXE5dy1NNmNZNKLrqsWVWDeCNY3lF4qEnxcJBf_lv3S8_ofmKJzzgif3RTkWakMN671ycIfRJujGUoDwG5ZVpU1BhVlkAXMFUIjacgtsY/s1080/JUNE20FF_2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjKKb8QykltJCBXynmMg9gJIWaRTTRJX5U9unXE5dy1NNmNZNKLrqsWVWDeCNY3lF4qEnxcJBf_lv3S8_ofmKJzzgif3RTkWakMN671ycIfRJujGUoDwG5ZVpU1BhVlkAXMFUIjacgtsY/s640/JUNE20FF_2.jpg" /></a></div><div><br />

I have the cutest card to share today! Since I've been working from home and having the kids home all day every day, it's been a little harder to be able to craft for a decent chunk of time. So this card took a couple of days putting it together in bits and pieces, ha! But I love how it came out.<div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhTkXcoNGnTsCDbndTY131XDSNCObUOA8auAUYHSfwIAssMRDBquIAaBthH_zlCT0oQhoqMOB-toQ4pTZWj3O40FOYfWZOvIMCotqDxYunNa1LcOShBGNdIeHcg8LemcTs-6iFNQ5PKtBY/s2048/purpleunicorn1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1612" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhTkXcoNGnTsCDbndTY131XDSNCObUOA8auAUYHSfwIAssMRDBquIAaBthH_zlCT0oQhoqMOB-toQ4pTZWj3O40FOYfWZOvIMCotqDxYunNa1LcOShBGNdIeHcg8LemcTs-6iFNQ5PKtBY/w315-h400/purpleunicorn1.jpg" width="315" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">To start, I cut strips of Magenta Madness, Blushing Bride and Flirty Flamingo card stock. <br />
Happy Friday! I'm happy to share another card with you this week. That's 2 cards in one week. It's been a while since I've done that! I just had to play with the new Hippo Happiness bundle. The animals is this set are adorable. Of course the first one I chose had to be the unicorn. I decided to play with this week's Global Design Project color challenge. Challenge <a href="http://www.global-design-project.com/2020/07/global-design-project-249-color.html">HERE</a>.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiHkZSc8AkcgDloiI_-BRTsdBbdKOxW1IhmFYo1BYBlviyhF18h_xezL4ekbvWle5R4MzMtIPNf0jAejLS6Z5VVgFruIIkAUEikUZM_cK-LB5Jh0-tRPSV7gLmmLvPyWa3k8hK-emo5PY/s1600/GDP+249.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1000" data-original-width="1600" height="199" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiHkZSc8AkcgDloiI_-BRTsdBbdKOxW1IhmFYo1BYBlviyhF18h_xezL4ekbvWle5R4MzMtIPNf0jAejLS6Z5VVgFruIIkAUEikUZM_cK-LB5Jh0-tRPSV7gLmmLvPyWa3k8hK-emo5PY/s320/GDP+249.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
These are really pretty colors together. So I now present my card with these colors!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFuatfnxEewOTafyQGPWkcnHVDO5LSN8F_qrf214BCW6LxK7UvvY8U80oEj1KgaxT5xW8zqKNDWQMVgFS8N01iiC_l3oNoVv_75kLRzKgNr8lwMr-PdsSZiagvWYqvdijq1HtBjNKZq74/s1600/unicorn1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1333" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFuatfnxEewOTafyQGPWkcnHVDO5LSN8F_qrf214BCW6LxK7UvvY8U80oEj1KgaxT5xW8zqKNDWQMVgFS8N01iiC_l3oNoVv_75kLRzKgNr8lwMr-PdsSZiagvWYqvdijq1HtBjNKZq74/s400/unicorn1.jpg" width="332" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
The card base is the new Misty Moonlight. This is a nice pretty blue color. The unicorn is stamped in Petal Pink (with a touch of Calypso Coral on top......eeek! I had to squeeze in a darker color for the unicorn body). Behind the unicorn I die cut the squiggles in Pool Party card stock. These cute little things are included in the Hippo and Friends Dies. The white label behind the unicorn is also from that set.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgi-gZ8gPYH8PGmnn0yE9cFuSpU1dmJ37xnGs9GjGrsARmHHQ7OSAStZqPZnix5IJCd12z0j_BREWTOdLDOBbpV9zpXK_ZpjWO-d0nJ_P5sOFyASmIypijynuv_nTeUEWYG2cqb9HUPx08/s1600/unicorn3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgi-gZ8gPYH8PGmnn0yE9cFuSpU1dmJ37xnGs9GjGrsARmHHQ7OSAStZqPZnix5IJCd12z0j_BREWTOdLDOBbpV9zpXK_ZpjWO-d0nJ_P5sOFyASmIypijynuv_nTeUEWYG2cqb9HUPx08/s400/unicorn3.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<br />
On the Misty Moonlight card stock, I stamped the little star splatter image with versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I stamped one of the sentiments in gray ink on Petal Pink card stock and cut out all of the words.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdSt6XDlw6TObp0wEy-DJVD1hyphenhyphen5_rWS4QJSi4Rnzzw8C0hnp9JZzNjwrOVEhCKFGO5S2socLSVYFMtdJD52ysWJmZu_T1xgc8ovGutl8mALyouOk_OwOaCDF0DMxG-pzLqFJ5M_lZLR1g/s1600/unicorn4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1267" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdSt6XDlw6TObp0wEy-DJVD1hyphenhyphen5_rWS4QJSi4Rnzzw8C0hnp9JZzNjwrOVEhCKFGO5S2socLSVYFMtdJD52ysWJmZu_T1xgc8ovGutl8mALyouOk_OwOaCDF0DMxG-pzLqFJ5M_lZLR1g/s400/unicorn4.jpg" width="316" /></a></div>
<br />
If you look closely you can see that I used the Misty Moonlight baker's twine and colored the white part of the twine with my Pool Party blend. That's a neat little touch!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj83Tp41uBt1wF6LEOvK2eSTW2ZzCfhHFnp8J0g6qvO6wSfKRc8mqntqf0dSGiZ23sCuCAdMAAkFDLDbx7vVGvfx_R-MdCscmMG9wUIrq1vCCCp-9QP0w4Oa8xa0Y2YwS9pNBFzvQRiZS0/s1600/unicorn2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1276" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj83Tp41uBt1wF6LEOvK2eSTW2ZzCfhHFnp8J0g6qvO6wSfKRc8mqntqf0dSGiZ23sCuCAdMAAkFDLDbx7vVGvfx_R-MdCscmMG9wUIrq1vCCCp-9QP0w4Oa8xa0Y2YwS9pNBFzvQRiZS0/s400/unicorn2.jpg" width="318" /></a></div>
<br />
And to finish the card I added a few of the Elegant Faceted Gems. These are great gems too. Stampin' Up! really has a bunch of fun new embellishments in the new catalog! Of course I had to get them all and try them out on all of my cards! :)<br />
<br />
I hope you enjoyed this cute little unicorn. Have a wonderful weekend!Jenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10487925772505220671noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8377383782791724538.post-36831410018833530162020-07-15T14:56:00.004-04:002020-07-15T14:56:48.104-04:00Playful Pups<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Hello, it's Wednesday! For some reason this week seems to be dragging on a bit slower than usual. Oh well, at least I have a super cute card to share. I'm using the Playful Pets set again. But this time I'm using the adorable dog image. Isn't that dog so fun?! I love how this card came out.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjN8Z7Ay6cj2R27HwHnXI9Fn9p1LZ34In5GCGVKka3NZU-_vfwxMdua8HCTRJEsO_XVtBjMaQYOBZfv_7Icu05kQy6G2j8fTBroLHFtkOhQNuIxJTVAhG4OKBpXOw6gNBYS1hIyhbGxYOY/s1600/dog2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjN8Z7Ay6cj2R27HwHnXI9Fn9p1LZ34In5GCGVKka3NZU-_vfwxMdua8HCTRJEsO_XVtBjMaQYOBZfv_7Icu05kQy6G2j8fTBroLHFtkOhQNuIxJTVAhG4OKBpXOw6gNBYS1hIyhbGxYOY/s400/dog2.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<br />
I did something fun with the dogs on this card. If you notice in the set the dog image is facing in one direction but on my card one of the dogs (top right) is facing in the opposite direction. To achieve this look you will need a few supplies; a silicone craft sheet, the Stamparatus, card stock and the ink of your choosing. First, I stamped the dog onto the silicone sheet that is secured on the Stamparatus, then I layered Whisper White cardstock on top of the silicone sheet. I added more ink to the stamp (making sure to keep it in the stamp position on the clear plate of the Stamparatus) and then I stamped the dog again. When you do this you will end up with the dog image on both sides of the card stock. Next, you will die cut the dog. After you cut out the dog you can turn him over so that he faces towards the other dogs. I then colored all the dogs with my Stampin' Blends.<br />

<br />
I thought it would be fun to place the dogs in several positions on the squares and I think it came out cute. The DSP is all from the Playful Pets pack. The sentiment is from Manly Mates and is stamped on Gray Granite card stock. I die cut the sentiment with one of the dies from Hippo and Friends dies. Can't wait to play with that set next!! For the finishing touch I added Misty Moonlight baker's twine from the Flowers for Every Season ribbon pack and some In Color Enamel dots.<br />
<br />
I hope you enjoyed these fun pups!<br />

<br />
Hello, happy Wednesday! Today's card features another fun new bundle from the new catalog. The Playful Pets suite is so cute! Yesterday's Stampin Through the Catalog challenge features the Pampered Pets stamp set.<br />
<br />
I started the card with the cute cat. I actually didn't stamp that cat, I cut it out from the DSP. I love having the option to cut out images from the DSP.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikBUPvpV3iwFeEpHh82t6KeuVj0lX-QJ-8neor8kiGiNbJcurPwDa2uIU3Vht8b6dWkI6C0lZV0Ky0E1sRgttSUs_5xpoXbsa2qpJrLOUVvW6ixijXhyLEvfJNKptXROUnzxhgk7smXEI/s1600/cat2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikBUPvpV3iwFeEpHh82t6KeuVj0lX-QJ-8neor8kiGiNbJcurPwDa2uIU3Vht8b6dWkI6C0lZV0Ky0E1sRgttSUs_5xpoXbsa2qpJrLOUVvW6ixijXhyLEvfJNKptXROUnzxhgk7smXEI/s400/cat2.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<br />
If you look closely you can see another piece of the DSP on the side of the card (the black and white DSP). I stamped the sentiment from the set two times, once in black and once in Real Red. Then I die cut "a real treat" with the Stitched Rectangle dies. The paws are also part of the dies from the Pets Dies set. Aren't they adorable??<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhnpk8mch7zP6zbg02X99jVNq2QroN4vV9dg5k56T6OA7V8h4l1WIaWZErBEL6g31DnfoFn_phjj2dZFU_vnq2k4B5sSmE5o5KXa15HcYLEGa63iXSlxMXjFKNTxDlj7yTi9HvTUmOre64/s1600/cat3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1289" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhnpk8mch7zP6zbg02X99jVNq2QroN4vV9dg5k56T6OA7V8h4l1WIaWZErBEL6g31DnfoFn_phjj2dZFU_vnq2k4B5sSmE5o5KXa15HcYLEGa63iXSlxMXjFKNTxDlj7yTi9HvTUmOre64/s400/cat3.jpg" width="321" /></a></div>
<br />
I splattered the Coastal Cabana card stock with the Bermuda Bay blender for some extra texture Then I added a fun bow with the Playful Pets trim combo pack and then some Playing with Patterns resin dots. There are so many great new embellishments from the new catalog. I can't tell you what my favorites are just yet because I love them all.<br />
<br />
I hope you enjoyed today's card.<br />
<br />
Have a great day!Jenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10487925772505220671noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8377383782791724538.post-56849978948227862472020-06-23T11:42:00.002-04:002020-06-23T11:42:37.706-04:00Father's Day!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Hello, Happy Tuesday! I'm sharing my cards that I made for Father's Day this year. I should have shared them last week but I didn't get a chance. But this layout was super easy and fun to replicate for other cards. I used the new Playful Alphabets dies to create these cards. This is such a fun die cut set. I really didn't need another letters set but these are small and the font is so fun! I combined this set with the Well Written dies as well. I can tell I will be using these 2 sets together a lot!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJR2HiibmCSxBzLbDieZTvS4e8XsRvcOQ8wkeC9GOgapDtmVvi-ZniBAlH9cVVmzsvax0GFUUWVHKsGqy7tH8yyBqL4oBFZ8g5W8ObOPhvOmBAipPOchKCZD8lhmmvyAYVPyFfqeyqDes/s1600/father2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1193" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJR2HiibmCSxBzLbDieZTvS4e8XsRvcOQ8wkeC9GOgapDtmVvi-ZniBAlH9cVVmzsvax0GFUUWVHKsGqy7tH8yyBqL4oBFZ8g5W8ObOPhvOmBAipPOchKCZD8lhmmvyAYVPyFfqeyqDes/s400/father2.jpg" width="297" /></a></div>
<br />
Another fun new item I used on these cards is the Foam Adhesive sheets. I cut black cardstock to layer on top of the adhesive sheet. Then I layered all of the dies on the sheet and ran it through the big shot. It was great to have all of these letters pop on the card! Now that I'm thinking about it, I should have used it on the "happy" gold foil sheet as well. Oh well, I'll try that next time! The word "day" is from the Well Said stamp set. I stamped "Father's Day" in versarmark on Bermuda Bay card stock and embossed with white embossing powder. Then I just cut out the word day.<br />
<br />
The word "Father's" was layered on top of a Stitched Nested label die that was stamped with one of the images from the Pattern Play stamp set. The DSP on the yellow card is from the Playing with Patterns set and on the green card it's from the Forever Greenery set. The gray on each card is from the In Good Taste set. I know I will be using the DSP from that set a lot!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhnbA8gaxd0RnApXOwohFxstyrVfr2qUU-9CXZ7si6f-LauPjE73VQRXFW7XVQVPqoxwSc6seBl1LLaEJSVPfuq5-81TW-QuB3ieG0upawbkHwD1zX3-UNxodEvC5RnvFpaZ6OCM2IcEk/s1600/father3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1366" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhnbA8gaxd0RnApXOwohFxstyrVfr2qUU-9CXZ7si6f-LauPjE73VQRXFW7XVQVPqoxwSc6seBl1LLaEJSVPfuq5-81TW-QuB3ieG0upawbkHwD1zX3-UNxodEvC5RnvFpaZ6OCM2IcEk/s400/father3.jpg" width="341" /></a></div>
<br />
The ribbon I used was the Denim Ribbon and the Misty Moonlight twine from the Flowers for Every Season combo pack. I love mixing and matches elements from the different product suites. And for once I did not add any sequins, dots or gems. I probably could have but decided to keep them off for these cards. :)<br />
<br />
Is everyone enjoying the new catalog? Hope you liked these cards!<br />
<br />
Have a wonderful day!Jenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10487925772505220671noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8377383782791724538.post-22780906821415187112020-06-09T21:55:00.003-04:002020-06-09T21:55:42.507-04:00Sunflowers Blessing<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Hello! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. The weather was fantastic here. Today's card features the Jar of Flowers stamp set again. This time I took one of the flower images and stamped it several times on white cardstock. Then I colored the flowers with Stampin Blends. It took a bit of time to color in the flowers but I love how the background paper came out! After coloring in all of the flowers I added some splatter with the Pool Party blend. I wanted some of the white spaces to be filled in a bit.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRD6Q2gnCrnmY9S900xu7ZD36Odepyd_EC8zyeQmIJZStLtdyRGQdaZEdI0Piv-Im-6LDLCMWlMlwYPEGzcEp2D7IHiipYFHPi3jhDL2B6-Y2QPK_YH0abyxHhEeZAe_wDH485U8vYNWc/s1600/sunflowerfriend2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRD6Q2gnCrnmY9S900xu7ZD36Odepyd_EC8zyeQmIJZStLtdyRGQdaZEdI0Piv-Im-6LDLCMWlMlwYPEGzcEp2D7IHiipYFHPi3jhDL2B6-Y2QPK_YH0abyxHhEeZAe_wDH485U8vYNWc/s400/sunflowerfriend2.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<br />
After coloring, I used the Stitched So Sweetly dies to cut out Pool Party and Coastal Cabana cardstock. On the Coastal Cabana cardstock I embossed the sentiment from So Sentimental in white embossing powder.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHBCRLomBgegTAK-r2zMrLTER_4oEcBqrRVrK09_vCHhSCE-X96uv77xlQZMX8-bc2UFszu5fG8HNXIHWHM5ktBstRDVE9GjVOW1k8xfVAkOe6nBlD4KdFJjkPQbNvOqqqlmRIA0Y9Uvg/s1600/sunflowerfriend3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1443" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHBCRLomBgegTAK-r2zMrLTER_4oEcBqrRVrK09_vCHhSCE-X96uv77xlQZMX8-bc2UFszu5fG8HNXIHWHM5ktBstRDVE9GjVOW1k8xfVAkOe6nBlD4KdFJjkPQbNvOqqqlmRIA0Y9Uvg/s400/sunflowerfriend3.jpg" width="360" /></a></div>
<br />
I layered all of these pieces on top of In Good Taste DSP. I also added a pretty bow using ribbon from the Flowers for Every Season ribbon combo pack. That Just Jade gingham ribbon is so cute and matches nicely with the other turquoise colors on the card! And for the final finishing touch, I added Champagne Rhinestone basic jewels.<br />
<br />
What are your favorites from the new catalog?? I have new items arriving tomorrow so hopefully I'll have a chance to play more!<br />
<br />
Have a wonderful day!<br />

<br />
Hello! The new Stampin' Up! catalog is live and it's fantastic!! As usual, Stampin' Up! has hit it out of the park with their new sets. The first set I am using is called Jar of Flowers and it comes in a bundle with a fun mason jar punch.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbq9nYoYIYFDXHqpu9uNOcFAul6mdZj3gyhkB48hrahj5ri-SZpnlMk58A8LpMVY6s9hpmgEMq16nVK706rlcU2QYaPC62oWpNwCCjSAKYO705rLMDkrNG8vl8LvXODMWtjPe3F2EkT_s/s1600/masonjar2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbq9nYoYIYFDXHqpu9uNOcFAul6mdZj3gyhkB48hrahj5ri-SZpnlMk58A8LpMVY6s9hpmgEMq16nVK706rlcU2QYaPC62oWpNwCCjSAKYO705rLMDkrNG8vl8LvXODMWtjPe3F2EkT_s/s400/masonjar2.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<br />
I stamped the jar and flowers in Gray Granite and colored in the flowers with various Stampin Blends. These flowers from the set are so pretty and so fun to color. I love how the jars in the set are reversible stamps. This means that I can turn the stamp over and use it to color the water in the jar. How fun is that!!<br />
<br />
Some of the other new items I used was the super pretty Forever Greenery (green strip) and In Good Taste (wood grain) DSP. I think I will be using the In Good Taste DSP A LOT!! I paired that with Pretty Peacock card stock that was embossed with the Tasteful Textile embossing folder. The finishing touches include ribbon from the Flowers for Every Season combo pack and In-Color enamel dots.<br />
<br />

<br />
Are you in love with this new set already too! Have you received a copy of the catalog yet? If not, contact me and I will get one sent out to you.<br />

<br />
Hello! We are still having some weather here so I feel like spring is finally here to stay!! Yay! Yesterday in the mail, I received my Paper Pumpkin kit for May. It's been a while since I've been part of the Paper Pumpkin family but since we've been at home the past couple of months, I thought it was a good time to rejoin. My daughter has been into making cards a lot lately so I thought these kits would be fun for her to help put together. I love that these kits have everything you need to put together some cute projects! This month's kit was extra special because it included the new 2020 - 2021 In Colors. These new colors are so great!! Just Jade, Bumble Bee, Cinnamon Cider, Magenta Madness and Misty Moonlight are the new colors. So far I think Magenta Madness is my favorite but I'm sure it will change over time!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgh5L4yXQlrB124_n9mWjpIJNUNVOjB6dBrz-XGMNuOCtsIXVE2VEPZWLLGj_wWLL0fTney8YPNJpEjRVpbqtn72rjChJ6rz4OgTfBaIDYTDGYn1mCACckIzXXShdeVaBqd5_9t5Po80YI/s1600/mayPP_2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgh5L4yXQlrB124_n9mWjpIJNUNVOjB6dBrz-XGMNuOCtsIXVE2VEPZWLLGj_wWLL0fTney8YPNJpEjRVpbqtn72rjChJ6rz4OgTfBaIDYTDGYn1mCACckIzXXShdeVaBqd5_9t5Po80YI/s400/mayPP_2.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<br />
For my first card, I decided to mix things up a bit and use pieces from the different cards to put my own card together. For some reason, I like coming up with my own cards before making them according to the instructions. But the cards that are shown are also super cute and I will be doing those next!<br />

<br />
Hello! I'm back on this gorgeous sunny day with another Peaceful Poppies card. I used the Peaceful Poppies DSP again along with the the black and white stripe paper from the Golden Honey Specialty DSP from Sale-a-bration. I cut the black and white strip paper with one of the dies from Stitched So Sweetly.<br />
<br />
I then cut two poppies using Purple Posy card stock (my favorite) and leaves using Mossy Meadow and Old Olive card stock. The "thanks" sentiment is from the Well Written dies. I finished off the card with Mossy Meadow twine, Black Glittered ribbon and Iridescent sequins.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYFP_8Q070GMN8b_LqdlHrsydhGgVgzO4rZQ3OBkxRujHENkKBwWGFDVXvnC_alLEhLK4ZxXCDOxN2qQ6MP7VZAPXc0cE0eNqVcd3ljvILAJi3rn9-pXDu4KmMf-tO939m1M13pRDBK-w/s1600/thanks2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYFP_8Q070GMN8b_LqdlHrsydhGgVgzO4rZQ3OBkxRujHENkKBwWGFDVXvnC_alLEhLK4ZxXCDOxN2qQ6MP7VZAPXc0cE0eNqVcd3ljvILAJi3rn9-pXDu4KmMf-tO939m1M13pRDBK-w/s400/thanks2.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<br />
This card was pretty quick to put together and would be a great way to use up your DSP. I love mixing and matching different DSPs and finding fun color combinations.<br />
<br />

I would love to see you CASE this card and come up with your own mix matched DSP combos.<br />
<br />

<br />
Hello! I know it's been quite a while since I've posted. At the beginning of this quarantine in March, time was moving like molasses but somehow since April, time has been flying by. Work, homeschooling and other random chores have wiped me out so by the end of the day, I'm beat and not up for crafting. But I managed to find some time and energy this past week to make mother's day cards. I know we are past mother's day but I still wanted to share the cards as the sentiments could be easily swapped for birthday, thank you, etc.<br />
<br />
Again, I used the Peaceful Poppies suite. One of my favorites of all time. I love all the colors in the papers and the dies are fantastic. As you can see I used the same layout for both cards but just used different papers from the pack.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8fl6TtclLS2b-avDLYrbjTpfv2Y1gswXmOmBoZuPtFyUMLjvRhab1fJIsHjBbJoxWLCqKwxFKitsLQBDIdmTGdYp4WHXcI_W-lfd13WHRCljZhNRkjqysQu1Pfi6cP1fzswsotfMSoPQ/s1600/mother2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1305" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8fl6TtclLS2b-avDLYrbjTpfv2Y1gswXmOmBoZuPtFyUMLjvRhab1fJIsHjBbJoxWLCqKwxFKitsLQBDIdmTGdYp4WHXcI_W-lfd13WHRCljZhNRkjqysQu1Pfi6cP1fzswsotfMSoPQ/s400/mother2.jpg" width="326" /></a></div>
<br />
I used Night of Navy as the base for both cards. The flowers and leaves were die cut with the Poppy Moments dies and DSP. The flowers/leaves were then layered on Sparkle Glimmer paper that was die cut with the Stitched So Sweetly dies.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhF2bii2VmD8oQ1OMjxCTtm13l7KDmAMckmlg2Ai2JBMZILjh979J1WmuTsp-g7gicM39HaSW2EG_5r-H1CaE8JzwKdMd4puPkhbfCqGI2YipeKCFO3jpkTCnFS4NuAil9wUqeKMOqEnIg/s1600/mother3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1334" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhF2bii2VmD8oQ1OMjxCTtm13l7KDmAMckmlg2Ai2JBMZILjh979J1WmuTsp-g7gicM39HaSW2EG_5r-H1CaE8JzwKdMd4puPkhbfCqGI2YipeKCFO3jpkTCnFS4NuAil9wUqeKMOqEnIg/s400/mother3.jpg" width="332" /></a></div>
<br />
The sentiment is from Well Said and is stamped on Petal Pink card stock that was punched with the Classic Label Punch. Additional touches to the cards are a strip of Purple Posy linen ribbon, a Mossy Meadow linen thread bow and Champagne Rhinestone basic jewels.<br />
<br />
Make sure you stock up on this paper before it's gone by the end of the month. Although I have to tell you the new catalog has some great DSP.<br />
<br />
Stay tuned as I will have another card to share this week with the Peaceful Poppies suite. I made this card a while ago but just never found the time to share it.<br />
<br />
Thanks for stopping by!Jenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10487925772505220671noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8377383782791724538.post-36570467248964829342020-04-06T11:24:00.002-04:002020-04-06T11:24:31.074-04:00TGIFC258 - Rainbow HelloHello! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. We enjoyed another weekend on quarantine but at least the weather was nice so we got outside for a bit. I also made my first batch of macarons with my daughter so that was fun. For my first time I think they came out pretty good. My daughter and I also spent some time making cards. It's her favorite thing to do lately. She made some cards for her friends and cousin and I played along with the <a href="http://tgifchallenges.blogspot.com/2020/04/tgifc258-color-challenge.html">TGIF challenge</a>. This week's challenge was a color challenge - rainbow was the color!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
I love making rainbow cards. Plus who couldn't use a rainbow card right now to brighten your day.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBvvXvcrPB58ISSO8tnL0RUTJErzI7uKBSTWQQCXsj3-m8ftXZ0s9GS-GpwUf3-bDIjcG5f21bDey1qJx2YfYWtWKX1ENvLLUk5nKAz8NNs-hZLbkr43d7Z_Texe-f938RktoMzVjtrtA/s1600/tgifc258_1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1577" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBvvXvcrPB58ISSO8tnL0RUTJErzI7uKBSTWQQCXsj3-m8ftXZ0s9GS-GpwUf3-bDIjcG5f21bDey1qJx2YfYWtWKX1ENvLLUk5nKAz8NNs-hZLbkr43d7Z_Texe-f938RktoMzVjtrtA/s400/tgifc258_1.jpg" width="393" /></a></div>
<br />
I used one of the hearts from the Be Mine Dies and cut them out in Poppy Parade, Pumpkin Pie, Pineapple Punch, Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green, Gorgeous Grape, and Blushing Bride card stock. Isn't it so pretty?!<br />
<br />
Behind the hearts is Dazzling Glimmer paper cut with the Stitched Nested Labels dies. And all of that is layered on a piece of the Golden Honey Specialty DSP.<br />
<br />
The sentiment is from Seriously The Best. I stamped it on black card stock and embossed with white embossing powder. After I cut out the sentiment I added several strips of ribbon: Denim Ribbon, Purple Posy Linen Ribbon and Whisper White Polka Dot tulle ribbon.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuMwk-kVoV1-Gsysz9rUFirggopqHBsipsA9pzPiATsW5WJ_OSmcSdWr6gwTWZPKJQZvrqGwvEyQ5JgYDWHPT5ckx_jo8Z0qfFcu1mHx_7JCuPTOakai25vXPgaw_MfYMBwiv80nwTYNc/s1600/tgifc258_2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1440" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuMwk-kVoV1-Gsysz9rUFirggopqHBsipsA9pzPiATsW5WJ_OSmcSdWr6gwTWZPKJQZvrqGwvEyQ5JgYDWHPT5ckx_jo8Z0qfFcu1mHx_7JCuPTOakai25vXPgaw_MfYMBwiv80nwTYNc/s400/tgifc258_2.jpg" width="358" /></a></div>
<br />
After I put the card together, I looked through all of my embellishments and added enamel dots in various colors to the hearts along with some rhinestone jewels.<br />
<br />
I love a pretty rainbow card. I hope to do some more rainbow cards soon!<br />
<br />
Stay safe and healthy!<br />

I have a fun and pretty card to share today. I used some of my quarantined time today to play along with the Global Design Project <a href="http://www.global-design-project.com/2020/03/global-design-project-232-case-designer.html">challenge</a> this week. The challenge this week was to CASE the Designer. Here is the card to CASE this week:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjx-msmTk0TxjClomZfMOI5XuLOgSYXV1r61nIEjLBZE3opB6x2O4K04aeY1FwdL9UT92AXT_RvZTQl2x88WvI6eSP8-KRt3d_vS51lezmG28yFDGicmLlcss3lFEqRVipDFwvcitv68u8/s1600/GDP+232.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="400" data-original-width="312" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjx-msmTk0TxjClomZfMOI5XuLOgSYXV1r61nIEjLBZE3opB6x2O4K04aeY1FwdL9UT92AXT_RvZTQl2x88WvI6eSP8-KRt3d_vS51lezmG28yFDGicmLlcss3lFEqRVipDFwvcitv68u8/s320/GDP+232.jpg" width="249" /></a></div>
This was such a pretty card to CASE. Now here is my card!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPU-ZMGGr70v4aHaIueNdi3kp2Q64s5G565JhXtLy_Geq5TiWuryQR8Ey2YibLElxo4GLsOMAejGhWIuGElnFv_IjanUFtVgGPaTCPALtNw_LFAJ1I-LGdI7JUgtUwEFmQcVGKVfuhv4A/s1600/gdp232_1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1381" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPU-ZMGGr70v4aHaIueNdi3kp2Q64s5G565JhXtLy_Geq5TiWuryQR8Ey2YibLElxo4GLsOMAejGhWIuGElnFv_IjanUFtVgGPaTCPALtNw_LFAJ1I-LGdI7JUgtUwEFmQcVGKVfuhv4A/s400/gdp232_1.jpg" width="345" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I pretty much CASED the card exactly. I loved all the flowers and bright colors. I took out the Abstract Impressions stamp set which I haven't used all that much lately. I forgot how much I love this set. It's great for making your own DSP.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdi_-Vi5mPKs6dR0zNNqGr1cuVdqZK-EO5O7OV85cG_bGG5X3qBWzVHE8-XpjfjIX1PO3A1cZm4WGIfwPWGnkzBJbLFyPq1Cpfp7md3aWZSRhwfa40DHF8dwT36JD2n4qllUhIpWcsyyc/s1600/gdp232_2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdi_-Vi5mPKs6dR0zNNqGr1cuVdqZK-EO5O7OV85cG_bGG5X3qBWzVHE8-XpjfjIX1PO3A1cZm4WGIfwPWGnkzBJbLFyPq1Cpfp7md3aWZSRhwfa40DHF8dwT36JD2n4qllUhIpWcsyyc/s400/gdp232_2.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I stamped the flowers in Petal Pink/Grapefruit Grove and Pool Party/Blueberry Bushel. The leaves are Soft Sea Foam/Granny Apple Green. And I used one of the grass stamps in the set stamped with Pineapple Punch and filled in the white spaces. I stamped it on scrap paper first so the yellow wasn't so bright.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
My hand crafted DSP was layered on top of the Peaceful Poppies DSP. I then used another flower image from the set and stamped 3 more flowers that I cut out and layered around the circle.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjFkfDRtuETc7wBeheGacytst6oHXcJoW1EzJdBLNXx1vhSX018ienQQnPs0DJnZKQ0K1D8EGyZXQojq-yN6bYhvBeqvpejWvRE0K17bS3uP7nc_vFE_TiB0CdiIuUU0Or9vyCURYRlDNM/s1600/gdp232_3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1388" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjFkfDRtuETc7wBeheGacytst6oHXcJoW1EzJdBLNXx1vhSX018ienQQnPs0DJnZKQ0K1D8EGyZXQojq-yN6bYhvBeqvpejWvRE0K17bS3uP7nc_vFE_TiB0CdiIuUU0Or9vyCURYRlDNM/s400/gdp232_3.jpg" width="346" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This was such a fun challenge. I love how bright and cheerful my card came out! I'm definitely going to try this again in some other colors. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Have a wonderful weekend!</div>

<br />
Hello, Happy Friday! How is everyone doing during this quarantine?? I've been fairly quiet on here as I've been juggling working from home and homeschooling at the same time! Yikes, it's been a bit of a learning curve. And then last week I was down with strep throat for a few days. So the past few weeks have been interesting. With all my extra time at home, I'm hoping to get some more crafting time in.<br />
<br />
Today's card it one that I made a couple of weeks ago but hadn't shared yet. It's been a while since I've used the Good Morning Magnolia Bundle so I decided to use that for this card. I chose to use some light colors (Very Vanilla, Pool Party, Soft Sea Foam and Gray Granite) paired against the black background.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjblzKJJMmb5ImOWngLD2-5b_qN7j6iHftezKd27CM-13fLmInONpP35_mQOEZrSCfcdiXSNeP7vcnOrHP8AERKHc0SmLkKtYflzgjh8KkukG03A_qReQ1MqET2XGNK9uHpcFUlhvixOto/s1600/magnolia_2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1334" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjblzKJJMmb5ImOWngLD2-5b_qN7j6iHftezKd27CM-13fLmInONpP35_mQOEZrSCfcdiXSNeP7vcnOrHP8AERKHc0SmLkKtYflzgjh8KkukG03A_qReQ1MqET2XGNK9uHpcFUlhvixOto/s400/magnolia_2.jpg" width="332" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I love how this card came out. It's definitely a hand delivery type of card since you don't want to squish that pretty flower. The large magnolia flower was stamped on Basic Black card stock and embossed with clear embossing powder. It keeps the background subtle by letting the pretty flower shine.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Behind the flower are some Soft Sea Foam leaves, a Pool Party circle and Gold Shimmer ribbon. The Hello sentiment is from Well Written and it's stamped on Gray Granite card stock that was punched with Classic Label punch.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyUO7pZeI834TQRN-tBUdgU31ZgyE33m54487W12HQO3Ckf999BmdpFYDVPxpioiMPEtx1Oue9-BXdd4GFXBh9qn1K6GhQmsXduuYEOepQSWO_mXCjjN7hNTw3HJC5XzLo0j-PrHrPSbQ/s1600/magnolia_3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1600" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyUO7pZeI834TQRN-tBUdgU31ZgyE33m54487W12HQO3Ckf999BmdpFYDVPxpioiMPEtx1Oue9-BXdd4GFXBh9qn1K6GhQmsXduuYEOepQSWO_mXCjjN7hNTw3HJC5XzLo0j-PrHrPSbQ/s400/magnolia_3.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
I hope you are all staying sane and inside during this time. I also hope you're able to get some crafting time in to get your mind off of things.<br />
<br />
Have a great weekend!Jenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10487925772505220671noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8377383782791724538.post-55850107936782312512020-03-05T15:14:00.000-05:002020-03-05T15:14:55.454-05:00GDP #230 - Magnolia Floral Thank You<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Hello! I'm playing along with the Global Design Project challenge this week. This week's challenge is a sketch challenge. This is a great basic sketch. Pop on over to <a href="http://www.global-design-project.com/2020/03/global-design-project-230-sketch.html">Global Design Project</a> to check out the projects from the design team.<br />
<br />
Now here is my submission.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgd640mIeXqSeAcB9KkqwA4fV0Lp0YhzTB_3-4qBD4br2qMttF6eTxX5RcqdwICYf-WpF7MGltonkIGwgDCFeMfd6zZX5V7OSvEEkw4bHZC7unHZlOrkDdPtNMv208JrUfZZTuC1whXjm4/s1600/gdp230_1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1600" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgd640mIeXqSeAcB9KkqwA4fV0Lp0YhzTB_3-4qBD4br2qMttF6eTxX5RcqdwICYf-WpF7MGltonkIGwgDCFeMfd6zZX5V7OSvEEkw4bHZC7unHZlOrkDdPtNMv208JrUfZZTuC1whXjm4/s400/gdp230_1.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
I pulled out the Good Morning Magnolia bundle for this card. This set was one of my early favorites from the annual catalog. It's such a great flower for coloring. I used the Petal Pink and Granny Apple Green Stampin Blends for the flower. After I colored the flower, I die cut it and then cut the leaves so I could rearrange them behind the flower.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_1sHkOqddZfoXzdUlo1KiLmYa7f7nsXnlppwfjovW2B5F3pDmP-jP52-S4J3hbGdZjKr6KIYHG3cGbOWYJXpaonOFXmS_TGwPoXn9op8sq-bNIvE_HkoWyY2llKe0Om2y1HCwe_0lkVE/s1600/gdp230_2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1600" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_1sHkOqddZfoXzdUlo1KiLmYa7f7nsXnlppwfjovW2B5F3pDmP-jP52-S4J3hbGdZjKr6KIYHG3cGbOWYJXpaonOFXmS_TGwPoXn9op8sq-bNIvE_HkoWyY2llKe0Om2y1HCwe_0lkVE/s400/gdp230_2.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
I layered the flower on a Terracotta Tile circle. This is my first time using this color and I like how it goes with Petal Pink. The DSP used is the Golden Honey DSP from the SAB catalog. Again, this DSP has some really great bold and basic prints.<br />
<br />
The sentiment is from Seriously The Best, which is so fitting. This set really is great. I didn't think I needed it at first but I love having a large script sentiment and then smaller sentiments to go with them.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxD17EjpETz0ekAmrTJVGwW-JOTDvX0FHWAwQ3-IZkwt_bVKnVO5ji-d70nCbapXfEHBv5LhljRzLUdKargRhkAOOEVn5UgA6dKltmoJOiegpk9C_IWulNA50N660f8Qytz2qQbaJ5hQ8/s1600/gdp230_3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1395" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxD17EjpETz0ekAmrTJVGwW-JOTDvX0FHWAwQ3-IZkwt_bVKnVO5ji-d70nCbapXfEHBv5LhljRzLUdKargRhkAOOEVn5UgA6dKltmoJOiegpk9C_IWulNA50N660f8Qytz2qQbaJ5hQ8/s400/gdp230_3.jpg" width="348" /></a></div>
<br />
Oh and one other fun element I used on this card are the leaves from the Magnolia Lane cork embellishments. I tucked them in behind the other leaves for some additional texture to the card. It gives the card a fun pop!<br />
<br />
Isn't this a fun challenge??!<br />
<br />
Have a great day!<br />

<br />
Happy Wednesday! Quick post here for you today. But I wanted to share another card with the Bonanza Buddies bundle. These guys are just the cutest and so much cuter when there is a die to cut them out!!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbw9wpD6yHte3MqeUR4qew9Cb9QjjXSG8x4HOews_0_cJPxldb_hnxjsyGViqTjGpzBKqWGlwbFB-2ypFqSs8JhBzhV5tiubSOBExzOvJn91T4VTydAuYlb6gZCz4V-iWZH5IwGQph_SM/s1600/bonanza2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbw9wpD6yHte3MqeUR4qew9Cb9QjjXSG8x4HOews_0_cJPxldb_hnxjsyGViqTjGpzBKqWGlwbFB-2ypFqSs8JhBzhV5tiubSOBExzOvJn91T4VTydAuYlb6gZCz4V-iWZH5IwGQph_SM/s400/bonanza2.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<br />
I decided to whip out some embossing paste for this card. It's been a while since I've used it. But it made me remember how much fun it is and how it gives the card some extra dimension. I used the cloud mask from the Pattern Party Decorative masks and used the embossing paste on Pool Party card stock. Once that dried, I added a strip of Granny Apple Green card stock and the die cut animals.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJnEttrDZfWILab5HllDyaE_s3F5RYmCkZ_rLoEr7sVobSOSKB7w38Zyv8RtuqhBK0iwkGs9BckbKw6z6KlwC3ygT07u_gGhpzzrFw0nNSihCyNXungtSbkUUAp51NegFee94umTrGiOc/s1600/bonanza3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1441" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJnEttrDZfWILab5HllDyaE_s3F5RYmCkZ_rLoEr7sVobSOSKB7w38Zyv8RtuqhBK0iwkGs9BckbKw6z6KlwC3ygT07u_gGhpzzrFw0nNSihCyNXungtSbkUUAp51NegFee94umTrGiOc/s400/bonanza3.jpg" width="360" /></a></div>
<br />
In the top left corner, I die cut the party banners with Sparkle Glimmer paper and added a sentiment in the bottom corner. I love using the classic label punch for those smaller sentiments.<br />
<br />
I hope this card brightened your day today.<br />
<br />Have a wonderful day!!Jenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10487925772505220671noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8377383782791724538.post-50031465256341324032020-02-25T18:54:00.002-05:002020-02-25T18:54:44.527-05:00Cute Koalas<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Hello, Happy Tuesday! I'm officially in love with the Birthday Bonanza buddies!! I'm finally taking a slight break from the Painted Poppies bundle and I'm moving on to the Birthday Bonanza bundle. I wasn't planning on getting this set but the animals in this set are just way too cute to pass up. Today, I decided to use the cute koala and kind of make my own DSP.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDADhnR1ofd5bA0mRC5zWoMnaRVyjPoZBS6W_War4AnKwDFEHC6qtrql0WOwsjPAaO1dP1lK_T8GNeVK8HJjUQjSvIZd9F2UE06yuYZtk3chNHO5AQ4t6c-VgGoAonYo7q4n3339XTS-k/s1600/koala2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDADhnR1ofd5bA0mRC5zWoMnaRVyjPoZBS6W_War4AnKwDFEHC6qtrql0WOwsjPAaO1dP1lK_T8GNeVK8HJjUQjSvIZd9F2UE06yuYZtk3chNHO5AQ4t6c-VgGoAonYo7q4n3339XTS-k/s400/koala2.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<br />
I stamped Mr. Koala several times on a sheet of Shimmer White card stock. In the blank spaces I colored it with the light Pool Party marker and added some Granny Apple Green little stars. Aren't they all just so cute!!<br />
<br />
The base of the card uses one of the sheets from the Birthday Bonanza DSP. Then I added my colored card stock of koalas on top. If you look closely you can see I added some Happiness Blooms enamel dots to the centers of some of the green stars.<br />
<br />
The "Hello" sentiment is from Seriously the Best stamp set and the "friend" sentiment is from the Well Said stamp set. Friend was stamped and embossed with white embossing powder. Hello was stamped in Poppy Parade ink and then I fussy cut it out.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjP6jxxuCdQa4tlifng3FRB0W-AM1rzCb36uRAx2t47djL0Gj9USJf1ffHPfuY0Biypln2NKPpfVZ0q2D1Omcis-NBA_f3KgekFhC0dFuXfiKgwXh7rDpmMykCPTGVlRNHmqKYG5u5eJbg/s1600/koala3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1291" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjP6jxxuCdQa4tlifng3FRB0W-AM1rzCb36uRAx2t47djL0Gj9USJf1ffHPfuY0Biypln2NKPpfVZ0q2D1Omcis-NBA_f3KgekFhC0dFuXfiKgwXh7rDpmMykCPTGVlRNHmqKYG5u5eJbg/s400/koala3.jpg" width="322" /></a></div>
<br />
I just love the fun bright colors of this card. So are you in love with these guys yet??? Don't be surprised if you see some more card with these guys over the next few days! :)<br />
<br />
Have a fabulous day!Jenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10487925772505220671noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8377383782791724538.post-5838477224174702522020-02-18T13:13:00.001-05:002020-02-21T10:14:15.533-05:00Purple Poppies!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Hello! It's another Painted Poppy day! While I had this set on my desk, I've whipped up a bunch of cards, so I hope your ready to see a few more with this set. It's hard not to make a bunch of cards with this set and this pretty paper. I think this paper is one of my favorites from the Peaceful Poppies DSP. The colors are so bright and vibrant so I decided to pair it with a lighter Purple Posy poppy. Doesn't that color look so great with the DSP?<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRM2lApegZrgcfqMMLqVwX5W6YOBb-gT3Zm0i2Vx1Dwm2ERyAFdl1G-x2tSFkWFhQiMKa3rhiGwLWxqOajUB6Lvp7yL83qsItVNHK3PTzHIJ0qTESJB3HW3Lyk8UNPdGU4FhWlq3XCjE0/s1600/purplepoppy3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRM2lApegZrgcfqMMLqVwX5W6YOBb-gT3Zm0i2Vx1Dwm2ERyAFdl1G-x2tSFkWFhQiMKa3rhiGwLWxqOajUB6Lvp7yL83qsItVNHK3PTzHIJ0qTESJB3HW3Lyk8UNPdGU4FhWlq3XCjE0/s400/purplepoppy3.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
For the center of the flower, I colored it with wink of stella for extra shimmer. The leaves were cut out with Granny Apple Green and Mossy Meadow card stock. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYWDXejJnGpftKIfksBfSDzoms5SVye7xJajOc72SNjujEqYtLfAT_CU4Yey1CgKGCGCSkvV06ZZfjSIPoUBmWvJe16c2YMG5C-ZYBc60ek-PEKXYUocZc6aBCR37BkwBaxUciCgjSFjw/s1600/purplepoppy2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1267" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYWDXejJnGpftKIfksBfSDzoms5SVye7xJajOc72SNjujEqYtLfAT_CU4Yey1CgKGCGCSkvV06ZZfjSIPoUBmWvJe16c2YMG5C-ZYBc60ek-PEKXYUocZc6aBCR37BkwBaxUciCgjSFjw/s320/purplepoppy2.jpg" width="253" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
I also used a strip of DSP from the Golden Honey Specialty DSP from Sale-a-bration and a strip of Gold Glimmer paper for some extra sparkle!<br />

<br />
For the sentiment I used the Well Said stamp set. Since there was some yellow in the DSP, I decided to stamp the sentiment on Pineapple Punch card stock. I love the extra "punch" it adds. :)<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Happy Thursday! I'm playing along with the <a href="http://www.global-design-project.com/2020/02/global-design-project-227-theme.html">Global Design Project</a> this week. This week's challenge is Let it Grow. So of course I have to use my new favorite set.... the Painted Poppies Bundle. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_ycOTaQl9hj_0OcxtClmEo-hNN95RvuPxThNvFO9uaQasAOv4zAqxIf-KxG4ahXu0Wa6WeOEnwkCuOrl6m0lrXpbV6i0EyUMmeEWf3RmcYcH4Wc2JA7ytiFRRj87U7IeESRt9M0RO7mY/s1600/227.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1090" data-original-width="1600" height="218" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_ycOTaQl9hj_0OcxtClmEo-hNN95RvuPxThNvFO9uaQasAOv4zAqxIf-KxG4ahXu0Wa6WeOEnwkCuOrl6m0lrXpbV6i0EyUMmeEWf3RmcYcH4Wc2JA7ytiFRRj87U7IeESRt9M0RO7mY/s320/227.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I have several thank you cards to make so I have a few cards to share over the next few days with this set. I hope you don't get sick of this set!! :)</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCGX3CH9DArUXf-SrsU791kWxMeErYQcU2WwvkmfPBISpQjTlSBy86OTWQBO8PO_OvvBj4A1rzaPsbsO9zkKVtssR0xPLU9FF02nX5mjDBR3WeqIu4xvBvjY2v5bz3eCCx7PEaGWAlkqg/s1600/greenthankyou2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1470" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCGX3CH9DArUXf-SrsU791kWxMeErYQcU2WwvkmfPBISpQjTlSBy86OTWQBO8PO_OvvBj4A1rzaPsbsO9zkKVtssR0xPLU9FF02nX5mjDBR3WeqIu4xvBvjY2v5bz3eCCx7PEaGWAlkqg/s400/greenthankyou2.jpg" width="367" /></a></div>
<br />
I used some of the pretty Peaceful Poppies DSP for the background. I just used the simple green stripe paper to show off the pretty flowers.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0EkPwVRQ7CPZ7LEO7g9ssCSToOb7_hfQmFCMCZv-lAQB6J7bBCBtZsN4NZ_E1riUp017yxknQYHm2ce3iumLx5XwShdknCfeOlzRHdCDLJTLhrK5uAk6yiqATQ-4GEJrhtW5fA2zOvTg/s1600/greenthankyou3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1252" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0EkPwVRQ7CPZ7LEO7g9ssCSToOb7_hfQmFCMCZv-lAQB6J7bBCBtZsN4NZ_E1riUp017yxknQYHm2ce3iumLx5XwShdknCfeOlzRHdCDLJTLhrK5uAk6yiqATQ-4GEJrhtW5fA2zOvTg/s400/greenthankyou3.jpg" width="312" /></a></div>
<br />
The flowers are layered on one of the dies from the Stitched So Sweetly set. Then I ran the Soft Sea Foam paper through the Big Shot with the subtle embossing folder. I did something fun with the leaves on the card below. I used the splatter stamp from the set and stamped it several times with Mossy Meadow and then stamped the leaf image on top and die cut. So it the leaves have a fun splatter look. The leaves on the card above are just stamped with the "blob" image from the set. I'm not sure what the technical name is for that stamp in the set, haha!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuN7j9dHB_LN0yPGOvc6HAVzRY-YlJKSDrh-wwGHeT5VSJWvNqhkHXAWXisyPDnAl-cz6iU9-ON6thNDe39ekSMFo0ylgcdj5dacxKni3uOwSRdR5RPvf1pK-RzVgDV7spgvpODVBdkWc/s1600/greenthankyou4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuN7j9dHB_LN0yPGOvc6HAVzRY-YlJKSDrh-wwGHeT5VSJWvNqhkHXAWXisyPDnAl-cz6iU9-ON6thNDe39ekSMFo0ylgcdj5dacxKni3uOwSRdR5RPvf1pK-RzVgDV7spgvpODVBdkWc/s400/greenthankyou4.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
For the finishing touches, I added some ribbon from the Magnolia Ribbon combo pack, some basic adhesive sequins, Share What you Love pearls (retired) and wink of stella in the center of the flowers.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Stay tuned for some more flowers over the next few days!!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Have a wonderful day!</div>

<br />
This month our challenge is a Shake it Challenge. The challenge is to create a project that shakes cause we are shaking things up on the Fancy Friday Design Team for 2020! Could be a shaker card, use a tassle on a card, jar of tags, whatever you what to make shake.<br />
<br />
Now on to what you've been waiting for. The card that I created for this month's challenge. I decided to make another shaker card because who doesn't love seeing a bunch of sequins shaking around!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeuKw5p6Ul1mrAbSxuloOttF123Er9rn6bpY582jz3lA-3ns6fJX5n5euYy4W94EN70OwgiN1PBoo8KsryMJmHMoJjRtokQ33LyD0_FWoA9SpLZf6boxvdDkAcVzvAULWsE1MZw0t75uw/s1600/JAN20-FF.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeuKw5p6Ul1mrAbSxuloOttF123Er9rn6bpY582jz3lA-3ns6fJX5n5euYy4W94EN70OwgiN1PBoo8KsryMJmHMoJjRtokQ33LyD0_FWoA9SpLZf6boxvdDkAcVzvAULWsE1MZw0t75uw/s400/JAN20-FF.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
I used the Dino Days Bundle to make this super cute birthday card. Who wouldn't love receiving a card with this cute dino on it. If you look at the close up picture below you can see I used the Sparkle glimmer paper to give the card some extra sparkle!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
This bundle is one of my favorites from the annual catalog. For the background, I cut several strips of the Dinoraur DSP. There are so many fun and bright papers in this pack and this is a fun way to use several of them. The sentiment is from the Well Said stamp set and Well Written Dies.<br />
<br />

<br />
Hello! It's Thursday and nearly the end of January! This month flew by and Valentine's day is almost upon us! I don't have any of the new Valentine's sets from the mini catalog but I looked through the annual catalog to see what I did have and I put together a lovely card. While I always like using new things, sometimes it's not possible to have it all! GASP, I know!! The Stitched Be Mine framelits from the catalog last year were one of my favorites. Look at that strip of open hearts! How can you not love that?!?<br />

So I used a bunch of those dies for this card. I started with Gold Foil paper for the open hearts. For the large scallop heart, I used Sparkle glimmer paper. The other hearts were done with Flirty Flamingo card stock and Gold glimmer paper.<br />

Since I didn't have any Valentine sentiments that were large enough for my liking, I remembered the "love" die cut from the Well Written dies and knew it would work perfectly! I cut it out with Coastal Cabana cardstock and I also stamped Happy and day on that cardstock as well. The DSP behind the hearts is one of the papers from the Golden Honey Specialty DSP from the SAB catalog. A simple black and white background is perfect for all of these hearts!<br />

Do you still use the Stitched Be Mine dies? If not, bring them out and make some heart cards for those you love.<br />
