Hello! Happy Friday! It is a fabulous day here in the Northeast, which means I need to get outside and work on cleaning up my patio and getting it ready for the warm weather. But first, I wanted to pop in real quick to show you the card I made for my brother's birthday. It's been a little quite over here so I wanted to share a fun card with you today.
I used the retiring Nailed It set. I really really love this set and I'm sad it's retiring but this is another one of those sets that I'll keep around. It is perfect for guy cards. I also wanted to show you that you don't need to the matching framelits for this set, it's fun on it's own. The framelits have sold out but there is no reason why you can't recreate this card without them. You can fussy cut the saw and then instead of the silver ruler you can just add a piece of DSP.
I stamped the various tools on Whisper White with Archival Black ink. I then used the watercolor pencils to color in the tools. So cute right! I layered this on some Urban Underground DSP. The Happy Birthday is from Window Shopping. I stamped it on Cucumber Crush card stock and then just cut out the words so they were separate. To finish off the card, I added a few Urban Underground embellishments. I used several on this card instead of hoarding them and just having them sit around, haha!! I've been better lately about using all of the embellishments I have.
This is a short post today but you really just want to see the pretty pictures anyway! :) So hurry up and get this awesome set before it's gone. Plus the clear mount is on sale so it's really something you can't pass up!
And don't forget if you place a $30 or more order in my online store during the month of April using Hostess code: CTVQJGPE and you will be entered to win a Watercolor Wishes Card kit.
I will notify the winner on May 1st.
Have a great weekend!
