Pink Camera
Happy Thursday! I have a fun card for you today. I used the super cute Snapshot stamp to create this card. I stamped the camera twice. Once on Pink Pirouette cardstock and then on white cardstock. I colored the lens with the Lost Lagoon marker and then cut it out. The designer paper is from the Moonlight paper stack. The ribbon is the new silky taffeta in Lost Lagoon from the Holiday catalog. This ribbon is so nice and ties very well. The sentiment is from the Good Greetings set again. I'm telling you this set has been getting a lot of use from me. I stamped the Hello Love in Lost Lagoon, Crisp Cantaloupe and Pink Pirouette. I used the banner punch for the ends. Then I finished it off with more sequins. I picked out the Crisp Cantaloupe sequins.
Thanks for stopping by!

More Halloween
Hello! I have another Halloween card to share with you today. This also uses new product from the Holiday Catalog. You can now purchase items from this catalog. Again Stampin' Up! put out another great catalog. I want so many things from the catalog but I can never get everything because I don't have enough time to play with it all. But the Halloween stuff was just too cute to pass up. I used the Fall Fest stamp set and Fun Fall Framelit dies. I stamped all of the pumpkins in Tangelo Twist then I used the dies to punch them out. So easy!! The background paper is from the Motley Monsters DSP. I cut out some Blackberry Bliss from the On Film Framelit dies. Then I embossed some Crumb Cake cardstock with the woodgrain embossing folder. The sentiment is from Good Greetings and I stamped that in Bermuda Bay. For the finishing touch, I added White and Tangerine Tango two-tone trim and a gold button.
I hope you enjoyed today's card!

Halloween card and an update!
Hello! I have a Halloween card for you today and a little update on the new baby. Jillian Nora was born on August 9th at 4:21 pm. She was a week late so we had to evict her, haha! We are both doing good. So far she sleeps a lot which helps when I am at home with my son too. Since he's a little wild, it's helps that she has been calm. Here are a couple of pictures of the peanut.
And I will just quickly share a Halloween card I did the other day. It uses items from the holiday mini catalog which will be available tomorrow!! I don't normally buy Halloween paper since I don't use it as often but I fell in love with the Motley Monsters DSP. There are some non Halloween papers in the pack that I can use for other types of cards, so that helped to justify my purchase, haha! I also used the Fall Fest stamp set and dies for the ghost. The sentiment is from the Good Greetings set which you can receive for free with a $300 workshop!
Thanks for stopping by. I have another Halloween card that I hope to be able to share this week.
Stamps: Fall Fest, Good Greetings

Baby Thank yous
Happy Friday! I have one last quick post for you before I get induced tomorrow. Please pray for a quick and easy delivery!! I'm just worried that it's going to be a long drawn out day. I just want this to go by as quick as possible. Anyway, while I had time the other day I decided to get a head start on some thank you cards. I figured that we will probably get some gifts once the baby is born so it will be nice to have thank you cards ready to go since I probably won't be crafting the next few days. I printed out a bunch of the bunny images from My Digital Studio. I don't have this stamp set but I love that I can use MDS for stamps that I don't have. Plus I enlarged it so it could be a bigger focal point. I love having the option to make it any size I want. I colored the bunnies with some copic markers and Stampin' Up! markers. Then I used some designer paper I had leftover from Sale-a-bration (Sweet Sorbet) and cut it out using the Labels Collection framelits dies. The thank you sentiment is from Regarding Dahlias. I stamped it in Baked Brown Sugar on Pistachio Pudding and punched it out with the modern label punch. Overall these were pretty quick and simple thank you cards. The coloring took a bit of time but since I like coloring, I just watched some tv and went to town. I find coloring very relaxing and when you have great markers to work with (such as Blendabilities or Copics), it makes it so much more fun.
I hope you like today's cards and thanks for stopping by. Next time I post I should have a new baby to talk about!! :)

Hello Dahlia Love!
Yup it's me again. I haven't done this much crafting in such a long time. It feels great to get back into it. I know that any day now, I will be on a break for a bit with the new baby so I'm crafting up now while I can. Which looks to still be some time, haha! This baby does not want to come out. For today's card I was in the mood to do some coloring. I do not have the blendabilities yet but I hear they are fantastic. In the meantime, I used my copic markers to color the flower. I stamped the flower onto watercolor paper and watercolored some Coastal Cabana on the background. Then I used several yellow markers to color the flower in. I stamped the flower twice so I could add a second dimensional layer to the flower. I think it's a nice little touch. The background paper is the Moonlight DSP paper stack. Then I used the On Film framelits to cut out the Blackberry Bliss cardstock. I used the new Good Greetings set (I told you it was versatile) for the sentiment. I stamped the flower image again on the sentiment banner just to make it not look so plain and then I added a Very Vintage designer button with a sequin in the middle. Of course I couldn't leave out the sequins on this card either. I just scattered them over the card where I felt like it. Then I just added some Crushed Curry chevron ribbon.
I hope you liked today's card and I hope you are inspired to do some crafting of your own today!!
Have a great day!

Snapshot Hello!
Well here I am, still waiting. I didn't get a chance to post yesterday since I was home with my son. He has decided that now is the perfect time to want to make the switch to a real bed and not take any naps, so that has been fun! I had no intentions of switching him to the bed yet but I guess he had other plans, haha! Tomorrow I go to the doctor to see what is going on with this baby. Unless she is going to be like her brother than she may make her appearance early tomorrow morning since that will be day 5 overdue. But I don't know, I feel fine, like absolutely nothing is happening yet. But we shall see.
Today's card is another shaker style card. This one you can see the sequins better in it. I used the Snapshot camera stamp which I think is really cute. Not a stamp I would normally go for but I'm really starting to like it and think it's a fun stamp. I stamped that on to Coastal Cabana cardstock. The sentiment is from Four You which is stamped and cut out. I cut out 2 pieces of vellum from the circle dies for the shaker part. Then I used the Starburst Framelit dies in Strawberry Slush. I used the circle dies again with the Strawberry Slush cardstock to make a circle border. I wanted to be able to cover up the adhesive I used to close the shaker circles. For the background I used the Handcarved stamp (once again) in Crisp Cantaloupe. To finish it off I added some Natural Chevron ribbon and more sequins.
Don't forget about the great Big Shot promotion going on. Purchase a Big Shot to use all of these fun dies and get a free exclusive bundle. It is a great deal!
Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas in August
Happy Monday! As you can see, I am still here waiting for Baby S to come along. Hopefully any day now. In the meantime, I have a sneak peek of a new stamp set called Good Greetings that will be available for hosts once the new Holiday Catalog comes out. This set will be available in an upcoming promotion for hosting a party. As part of this special promotion, if you host a party you will receive this set for FREE when you hold a party--which means you'll be able to use your host rewards on any Stampin' Up! products! The Good Greetings Stamp Set is extremely versatile and will cover holidays from Halloween to Valentine's Day and beyond! Watch for more information on this upcoming host promotion.
For today's card, I decided to make a Christmas card. I am far from thinking about Christmas but I just had this idea in my head so I went with it. I used several of the sentiments from the set and stamped them in Baked Brown Sugar onto Crumb Cake cardstock. Then I ran this through the Big Shot with the Decorative Dots embossing folder. Oh Don't Forget, there is a great Big Shot promotion going on during the month of August. Purchase a Big Shot and get an exclusive Framelits and Stamp Set Bundle for FREE when you purchase a Big Shot. Or, if you already own a Big Shot, get a 15 percent discount on these select bundles. Contact me for information on this great promotion!! Now back to the card. I again used the Big Shot to cut out the Deco Label framelit dies in Vellum and Champagne glimmer cardstock. I wanted to make a shaker style card with the Deco label framelits. I added gold sequins between 2 layers of vellum cardstock and then made a frame with the Champagne glimmer paper. You can't see the sequins as much as I would have liked but they are there. (See the 2nd close up picture). Next I stamped the flower image from Hello Darling in Cherry Cobbler and Mossy Meadow. I cut out the pieces that I wanted to use on the card and adhered them with dimensionals. The sentiment is stamped in Mossy Meadow onto vellum and the final step was to add Cherry Cobbler seam binding.
I hope you enjoyed the sneak peek of this cute new set. The font is fun and it really is a versatile set. Contact me for more information on this promotion or on the Big Shot promotion. If I'm still here tomorrow I will have another shaker style card to share with you, so stop by and check it out!
Have a great day!
