Hello Purple Unicorn!

Happy Thursday! I have the cutest card to share today! Since I've been working from home and having the kids home all day every day, it's been a little harder to be able to craft for a decent chunk of time. So this card took a couple of days putting it together in bits and pieces, ha! But I love how it came out.

To start, I cut strips of Magenta Madness, Blushing Bride and Flirty Flamingo card stock. I layered this on a piece of white card stock and then die cut it with the Stitched Rectangles die. Once that was done, I die cut the squiggles from the Hippo and Friends Die in Pool Party card stock.

I stamped the unicorn in Highland Heather ink and used dimensionals to add it to another die cut from the Hippo and Friends dies. The sentiment is from Forever Fern and is stamped on Purple Posy card stock. I then used the Classic Label punch to punch it out.

For the finishing touch, I added Purple Posy ribbon from the Playing with Patterns ribbon pack. This ribbon ties like a dream, I love it! Then I added some of the Playing with Patterns resin dots.

Isn't this such a fun girly card?! I love all of these colors paired together.

Fun Camera Card

Happy Friday! Still no baby yet. Tomorrow is my due date so we shall see if there is a baby by tomorrow. I'm doubting it. So in the meantime, I will just make more cards! :) I cased this card from the super cute camera box that Iliana Crouse made. I thought this box was so adorable but I decided to make a card version instead. I used the Moonlight DSP paper stack for the patterned papers. I love the different designs that come in this paper stack. I think the Blackberry Bliss color is my all time favorite purple color. I just love it. I then cut out several circles in Hello Honey, Blackberry Bliss, Champagne glimmer paper and black for the lens of the camera. In the top corner I cut out a Hello Honey square and added a black brad in the middle. On the bottom left corner I punched out two sentiments with the oval punch from the Honeycomb Hello stamp set. The ribbon color is from Sale-a-bration. I think it's Summer Starfruit? But the extra thick baker's twine is in the catalog in the 2013-2014 In Colors. Another ribbon that I love. I guess you can just say that I really love a lot from the catalog this year!!!
