The team is featuring Merry Little Labels this month. This set is great for cards and for tags/labels.
I decided to make a bunch of tags and labels and package them up in a clear stamp case. This project can be great as a gift for someone or just keep it for yourself. :) I wanted something where I could have my tags, labels and a pen all in once place. So once I'm done with my gift wrapping I will be all ready with my tags and labels.

For my tags, I used the Merry Little Christmas DSP as the base. I love the basic black and green colors in these papers. It works great with any colors. I chose to just stick with red to go with the DSP.
To start, I used the Old Olive buffalo plaid DSP for the outside of the clear stamp case. I decorated the front with one of the stamps from the set and layered it with a medallion from the Eastern Medallion thinlits dies and gold mini sequin trim. All of the tags use the same elements, just different DSP and stamps. The second photo shows everything packaged up in the case. There are 9 tags, 8 labels, 8 mini gift bows and a pen.
Here are all of the tags and labels. I stamped each of the stamps on Real Red cardstock and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Then I punched them with the Everyday Label Punch or die cut them with the Stitched Shapes framelits. The stamped imaged was layered on a medallion from the Eastern Medallion thinlits. I used the different green DSPs for the medallion. Then I used the back and white DSPs for the tag. I punched the top of the tag with the Scalloped Tag Topper punch. Each tag had gold mini sequin trim behind the red stamped image. All of the tags have Crumb Cake classic weave ribbon on the top that was tied with White Baker's twine or Red tinsel trim.
For the back of each tag, I stamped the For, From stamp on Crumb Cake cardstock and punched. I put a small amount of snail on the back so that if you want to remove it and reuse the tag, you should be able to.
After making all of the tags, I wanted to make some labels as well. I stamped the images on white card stock and then put them on the multipurpose adhesive sheets. Then they were punched or die cut. So once you're ready, just peel off the back and stick them on your package.
Once you put your label on your package you'll need some cute little bows too! I cut a small rectangle from the window sheets and add the mini gift bows with glue dots. You can then peel them off and stick them on your package.
Just look how cute those tags look on those gift bags above! These tags are perfect for dressing up some simple bags.
Alright, have you made it through all of that! I had such a fun time making all of these tags. They really did not take that long to do. Once I figured out the designs for the tags, the assembly went fairly quick. And it's great knowing that I all ready for my Christmas gifts. Now I just need to do my shopping and get these gifts!
